Hi!! I'm currently preparing my documents for graduate school, which is due March 1st. I'm applying for a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics (TESOL). I only have one school that I really want to go to... It's kind of risky, but I'm thinking about just applying to that school ( Read more... )

I'm applying for the Master of Counseling program at my university soon and have taken the general GRE and am finishing up my personal statement. I feel pretty confident in those areas, but am still anxious as can be about my letters of recommendation. I also have some questions about GPA. Also, if I am in the person's class now, should I go to their office hours and ask them for a letter? Or is e-mail best? I have been putting this off forever....

I prefer to go in person because I think that is most informative and respectful way to go about it. But, if e-mail-a-request is the norm that might be better and less nervous-making.
